Fortune Wheel in Levittown.
It gets crazy busy on the weekends though.
We go here. then across from grumman is another place on 107. Both are frequented heavily by the chinese population.

i haven't been to The Orient ever since they did the renovations. Is the food/prices still the same? DH and I used to sometimes have dinner there on a weeknight since it was quieter than the weekends.

The Orchid in GC. Anyone else miss Gum Ying that used to be in West Hempstead? That was THE BEST around.
UMMMM YES!!!!!!! We used to go there all the time when I was a kid. Now it's just another old CVS
I also suggest Lotus in Farmingdale or Orchid in Garden City. Also Empire Szechuan in Syosset.

Hoi Ming, west sayville. Same owners, waiters, cooks, and house special drinks that knock you for a loop for 30+ years.

I second Hoi Ming. They have the best egg rolls. I travel from Plainview to go there.

Another vote for Hoi Ming in West Sayville!
It's definitely a throwback. My parents say it hasn't changed one bit in the 40 or so years since they started going there.
The waiters are so so nice and happy all the time, and the food is delicious! They really do have THE best egg rolls.

AHH!! How could I forget? I love their cocktails. Two house specials is all it takes to make me a HAPPY girl!
And they have kick ass egg rolls.

BUT I do love me some Long River in West Islip. I grew up on it (back when they WERE a strip mall place in Captree Commons!) and I swear they put some addictive substance in their food!
LOVE Long River!
Haven't had their food in years....ever since we moved out to Holbrook....
