Chocolate covered pretzels
Hi! I wanted to make chocolate covered pretzels but I didn't know what kind of chocolate to use. Can I just buy Hersheys chocolate bars and melt it or is there special chocolate for melting? TIA! I know that this may be a ridiculous question

Re: Chocolate covered pretzels
I made them a few months ago with the melting chocolate from Michael"s in the baking section. I thought it was pretty easy.

Re: Chocolate covered pretzels
I would go with a good quality chocolate like the disks from Chocolate Duck or Grandmas Kitchen. Ghirardelli or Guittard chips would also work well. I do this a lot, and the quality of chocolate really makes a big difference.

Re: Chocolate covered pretzels
You could just melt down Hershey bars, but you'd need a lot of them! lol! You're better off getting bags of chocolate chips. You can get them at Michael's or at any supermarket. Lately I've been using Ghirardelli or Nestle.
