Cake decorators......need advice.
Has anyone ever used this Wilton Cake Decorator?
Is the tips and bags easier to use?
I'm attempting to make a somewhat decent sheet cake.

Personally, I prefer the decorating bag with the tips... I feel it gives me more control... how much pressure I put on the bag... amount of icing (or a little icing) if you want.. I felt very clunky with the tube.

I've only ever used a decorating bag and tip....like the PP said, it's much better for control.

My mom has something similar (not Wilton) - and I didn't like it at all. Maybe it takes some getting used to, but I had a hard time controlling the flow.
I'll stick to the bags.

I have one like that from pampered chef...it's old! I use it for things like deviled eggs. I too feel like you don't get the precision you want for cake decorating.
