Stomach bug gone wild. Please help

So, 1.5 yrs ago, my husband was very sick... threw up almost every morning and had swollen joints. He went to an internish & an infectious disease doc, and neither could find anything. This went on for 6 weeks, & he slowly got better.

Now, he got the bad stomach bug from our daughter, and is going on day 4 of feeling so-so in the daytime, but throwing up every morning. I'm really concerned.

Anyone have experience with this? Advice? We have an 11-month old daughter and just bought our houes 3 mos ago... I'm a stay at home mom and am worried for my husband's health and for our financial stability. Please help.

You can get something called post infectious IBS. I have a sensitive stomach after I got stick with an infection. Swollen joints may point, though, to Crohn's disease. This was a symptom my friend had. Crohn's has flare ups that can last several weeks and then subside. I would suggest seeing a GI.
