Treadmill or Elliptical?
Looking to possibly purchase one for home. Have an old broken treadmill that is unfortunately, not worth fixing.
Which do you think would be better in terms of the workout?
I think I get less bored on an elliptical.

I would get an elliptical for the house. If you want to go for a walk or run then you can always go outside

The best workout is the one that you enjoy and stick to!
So choose which one you are more likely to do!

it all depends on you!
i found that an elliptical didnt do much for me...but doing the same amount of time on a treadmill gave me results.
i wish the elliptical worked for me bc i personally enjoy that more

I have both. I pretty much use the ellipitcal when I am injured or something is sore. I use the treadmill when the kids are napping so I can't get outside, or when the weather is bad or its late. But most of my workouts are outside. IMO you can get a better workout on a treadmill.

elliptical is easier on my knees and I just ordered one from Amazon for 100 bucks that was free shipping. I figured, what would I lose..besides weight!

I never feel like I get as good of a workout on an elliptical no matter how hard I push it. If you know you will use it, I vote treadmill.
