Infant Early Intervention Recos in Nassau
My twins just got out of the NICU and are going to be evaluated by EI however I am supposed to choose an agency from a list. I know nothing about any of them. Does anyone use one that they could recommend to me?

Don't know if ACDS is on your lost but I highly recommend them! I have worked in the preschool for almost 6 years and it's a phenomenal place.

We used Variety in Syosset. They came and evaluated the triplets after they came out of the NICU. My DD automatically was eligible for services bc she was a micro preemie. She now receives PT and feeding therapy through Variety and I couldnt be happier. They have been a pleasure to work with!

I was the Nassau/Suffolk Supervisor at Up Wee Grow Inc. for years and still work there part time (I recently took leave since I had a baby). I will tell you if my son needs any services (and there was already an issue with his thyroid so it might be a possibility) I would use Up Wee Grow. Our evaluators are top notch and our Therapists are all hand picked. If you weren't interested in us, I would let an agency evaluate your baby and then if you get approved for services, pick an agency that specializes in what your child may need (ex. if they need PT go with Tender Age). If you want advice FM me. I would be more than happy to steer you in the right direction. If you end up using Up Wee Grow I can promise you will be very happy.

I like Kidz Therapy and everyone I know who has used them is pleased. Many districts use them (i.e., the one I work for, the one my mother works for, etc.).

I worked for them before this current job for 3.5 years! I agree.
I also hear great things about Up Wee Grow!
