back surgeons - anyone ever use one of these dr's??
MRI shows I have a very herniated L5-S1 disc, as well as minor herniation L4-L5 and L2-L3 (don't know why it actually skips a disc!!) Orthopedist said I need to see a surgeon to get an opinion on course of treatment because this has been bothering me for a while now and PT doesn't seem to be doing much.
Has anyone ever seen:
Vincent Leone or Jeff Silber in Great Neck
Also, anyone have a similar issue that they can tell me their experience??

I just replied to your FM. like i said...I trust Dr. Leone with my life! He did my microdisectomy for L5/S1 in 2010 and I'm so much better since.

I have not been to those surgeons. Usually they will suggest epidurals first, which i did not want to do. I have FIVE herniated discs and they are really iffy about surgery for me. It's like where do you start? And it has a relatively low chance of actually solving the problem.
