Sinus Infection Question
I went to dr on Monday and was diagnosed with a sinus infection. I am on Augmentin. I have taken 2 pills on monday, 2 pills on tuesday and 1 so far today. Problem is I don't feel any better, I actually think I feel worse. Can't remember the last time I felt this sick.
Shouldn't I be feeling a lil better by now? Is there anything else I can do? I have been doing the neti pot, drinking a lot of fluids and sucking on cough drops because I have a horrific cough
Do I need to go back to dr or does it just take long for the antibiotics to kick in?

Sinus Infection Question
If you feel like you are getting worse, I would probably go back to the Dr. He might give you a different antibiotic..and maybe a cough medicine. Hope you are feeling better soon...

Definitely go back to the doctor.Augmentin does not always work, so you may be put on levaquin.
Stay in a vaporizer, take decongestants if you can, ad if you're not totally stopped up, do a sinus rinse.
I'm prone to sinus infections, so it's just part of my life

I would call the Doctor back. The last time I had one, I had to take Levaquin and Mucinex to get rid of it.
