Can anyone recommend some books based on my favorites?
I was wondering if anyone here had similar tastes and would be able to recommend a good book based off of my favorites. Here are some of them:
1. A Walk To Remember by Nicholas Sparks (I've already read all of his books) 2. Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom (I've already read all of his books) 3. The House At Riverton by Kate Morton (I've already read all of her books) 4. Night by Elie Wiesel 5. The Secret Life Of Bees by Sue Monk Kid 6. Memoirs Of A Geisha by Arthur Golden 7. Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger 8. The Help by Kathyrn Stockett

Thank you!! It is on my list as well, have been unable to find it at my library. Maybe I'll just buy it.

Did you read The Forgotten Garden? That's on my list as well!

You read the same style as my sister and she has read and liked every Jodi Picoult book.

Thank you. Unfortunately, I have read quite a few of her books and did not enjoy them at all. But I still appreciate the suggestion.

Never heard of either of them, so I'll be interested to check them out. Is there a favorite book by each author that you would recommend me trying first?

Go to this site and type in a book you've recently read. It will give you a list of books that are similar to it.
What should I read next?

For Carol Goodman: The Drowning Tree The Lake of Dead Languages
For Tracy Chevalier: Burning Bright
You can't go wrong with any book from either author. Tracy Chevalier writes fiction that is inspired by historical events, or pieces of art (The Girl with a Pearl Earring). Carol Goodman is AMAZING. It seems like you prefer a good book that is a bit more intellectual.
I can't stand Jodi Picoult either.

I was a fan of Jodi Picoult for a while. But I grew out of her.
But she is still the author of one of my favorite books ever - My Sister's Keeper. I'd definitely recommend that book.
Have you read The Secret Life Of CeeCee Wilkes by Diane Chamberlain? Another great read.
