Now shes chewing the walls etc!

Ok..so now abby likes to chew on the vents on the floors and the one wall beam.

I see she only seems to do it when shes overly excited and or when shes mad shes being ignored etc.

So , we are trying to curb some of it, but I cant stay with her all the time, every second.

any suggestions?

We remove her and give her a chew toy, we play with her etc...but times liek when Im cooking dinner and she wants my attention after I just played with her, she will turn around and start chewing on the vent. I yell, say no, remove her, spray the stuff and she runs right back to it?!?!?!

oh p.s - tried two of the bitte sprays, the YUCK one and the natures miracle and she licks it anyway.

is it just a phase?

Its ot often but I dont know how to get her to stop before she starts doping it when we arent home and stuff.

Is the teething?

If she is then you may need to get a different type of chew toy. The corners of walls, moldings, etc can get into the gums & make the pup feel like they are cutting teeth faster.

If not then I went through the following with all of my dogs (none of which responded to bitter apple):

Cayenne pepper for the pug
Curry for Loki
Garlic & pepper mixed for Pyxie

I took all of these & diluted them with water in a spray bottle.

Try giving her hooves and bully sticks... and make sure she is getting enough exercise.
All of Katie's bad behaviour seems to come out when she hasnt' been exercised.

yes Shes teething and yes I 100% believe she seems to do it when she has less exercise! I thought that as well and am Glad I am somewhat right.

I will keep it up and thanks for the suggestions!
