You also might want to check out The Cinnamon Snail's website...it's a vegan, organic food truck in NYC and Red Bank, NJ. Follow them on FB or Twitter, they post their locations on there :)

It looks like it will be soon. They put all the signage up on the building. The website says August here

I know nothing about vegan so I apologize if this suggestion sucks, but there is a groupon currently for Maggie's Raw Love in Rockville Center - $16 for 2 entrees and drinks.

Three Brothers in Rockville Centre is out of this world. They offer a full menu of all veganized Italian dishes. My favorite is the seitan piccata. Please do yourself a favor and get there for dinner soon!

even my meat eating friend liked it
also- I found a great place in massepequa - more of a lunch place but he is expanding to a vegan/gluten free bakery and then more food in the fall
Organic corner health and juice bar- the owner is really cool
I am very committed to this- so I appericate all the help!
So funny...I just went to Blossom on the Upper West Side this past Saturday..I'm by no means vegan/vegetarian, in fact I'm the opposite, no veggies, salad whatsoever lol..but friends wanted to take our strictly vegan friend here, and I loved it! Had the quinoa-lentil burger and was out of this world.

I miss the Zen Palate that used to be in Westbury.
in, I think Lynbrook there's a chinese place called Little Fu's that has many vegetarian choices. Indian is always a great option for veg as well. Really any asian food, thai, etc
