We got a new kitten!!
My cousin posted on Facebook the other day that she found a kitten in her boyfriend's car! Apparently, they were leaving work, and they heard some meowing, so they tried to figure out where it was coming from. They lifted the hood of his car, and inside was an adorable little kitten. She couldn't keep it...he couldn't keep it...and none of their friends could take it in. They called around to some shelters and the only one willing to take the kitten said they'd have to euthanize it...and they'd have to pay $25 to bring it in.
My heart broke...and I couldn't let the poor kitten die....so we took it in. I told my daughter we were just going to visit the kitty, and then while we were there, I surprised her and told her we were bringing her home...she was shocked!
The next day, we brought her to the vet and she's about 7 weeks old...just under a pound and a half, and she may or may not have a parasite, so she's on some anti-diarreah medicine for a few days.
She's just a sweetheart though....very calm and loving...and her purr melts my heart.
Introducing....Marigold! (my daughter picked her name)

awww Adorable. We just got one too 1 lb and shes 7 weeks. Marigold is a cute name. We picked Maisy (mouse) b/c shes grey and looks like a mouse. LOL I am SO in love :)

She is so adorable!!! Many years of happiness with your new addition. She looks just like my Clover looked when she was a kitten... 18 years ago. Just brought back so many memories for me!
