springchick make a wish Member since 5/08 3566 total posts Name: justask	NYC public library I heard about getting a membership for the NYC public library ebook. Is it worth it? and how does it work? do they have a long selection or are most book on hold?

charon54 My two boys! Member since 5/05 7279 total posts Name: Rebecca	Re: NYC public library All you need is a NYS drivers license. I got one when I was in the city one day. I love it. You can borrow up to 28 days, up to 12 books at a time, and they have so much and so many copies of everything.

I live in NYC, so I'm eligible. I think you can also get an NYPL card if you work in NYC, go to school in NYC, etc. ETA: Actually it's the whole state. Link Message edited 9/11/2012 12:34:41 PM.
