Petco dog training or dog trainer recommendations
We adopted an abused dog (beagle) about 2 months ago. He is wonderful, except we are having the worst time trying to teach him the basics (sit , stay etc.).
Has anyone used Petco for training and if you did, was it good? Or can you recommend anyone else? I'm in Patchogue.

we used dog works in holbrook next to total pet care when our late beagle was a puppy. she learned a lot from there.
enjoy your beagle. mine was such a great dog.

That is awesome you rescued your pup!!
We have used Suffolk County Obedience (for Huxley) www.suffolkobedience.com and Rick's Canine Workshop (for Darwin) www.rickscanineworkshop.com. The only reason we didn't use Rick's for Huxley as well is because the schedule didn't work out for us.
