Scared to test

Background: I had an ectopic with a tube removal August 14th
According to my previous cycles (always 28 days since I was a teenager) I am due for my period tomorrow. I sort of tried this month, but not very hard. Basically we were just not being careful. I am petrified to test though. Part of me wants to be pregnant again, but part of me is scared. Anyone feel like this before?

For the last 10 months that we've been ttc.

I went into premature labor and lost my son. Months later they figured out the infection that caused my preterm labor was b/c my appendix ruptured. I lost a tube and ovary.

As much as I want to be pregnant again it still scares the hell out of me every month. And as much as that sucks I think it's totally normal.

I'll be trying as soon as I get the go ahead. I JUST had my tube removed last week. I know i'll be nervous...BUT look at it this way....you will be monitored closely this time around and you'll know soon on god forbid if its happening again. All you can do is hope for the best and be proactive with getting to the doctor as soon as you get that BFP. Sending good thoughts your way!!!!

Seems I am starting to spot a bit, so I figure AF is on its way! Its probably better to give my body a little longer to heal anyway. And we are going to be able to go ahead with our big Disney trip next summer that we were going to have to put on hold if I was pregnant.
