What do you stuff your peppers with? I want to make stuffed peppers!

My usual is ground turkey, rice, tomato sauce, a little Worcestershire, beef base (like boullion), pepper, peas and Gruyere cheese.

My vegetarian version is soy protein (we like Boca meatless crumbles), brown rice or quinoa, tomato sauce, Worcestershire, salt, pepper and Gruyere.

Stuffed Peppers

I just use my meatloaf mix (meat, grated onion, garlic salt, egg, some sauce, breadcrumbs, etc). I put them in a deep round dish, fill the dish with Hunts sauce (not sure why Hunts but I always use it in stuffed peppers). Put a thin slice of white onion on top of the beat, pour a little sauce top of the meat and cover.

I used to put small chunks of cheddar cheese in for my exH.

Bake at 375 until they were done - about 30-45 minutes depending on size. Try to find peppers that are the same size so they cook evenly.
