Running Question?

I just started running outside and I love it! I am trying to find a budget friendly jacket (or something like it) to wear when I run. Currently I am wearing a sweatshirt jacket. It isn't really working out too well!

Any suggestions would be great! Thanx!

TJ Maxx has some great deals... Also Champion at Target has some good running gear.

If you are running outside in winter, you should have a good sport bra, then a shell and a form fitting long sleeve shirt, and then some kind of warm running jacket over. They should all be made of material that wicks sweat away from you.

Old Navy and Gap!!!! Gap may still be having their sale and I saw a few warm running jacket stuff there. My FAVORITE running tights are Gap and Old Navy!

Re: Running Question?

I used to think it was bs but the moisture wicking clothes are so much better for you. Then you can layer on top of it in something warmer like a light jacket or sweatshirt that you can get anywhere.

I still run only in a dry-fit t shirt and a long sleeved jacket. But I think the lowest I've jogged in is 30 degrees.

I do have an insulated long sleeve shirt that is really warm, but it's compression and I'm not brave enough to wear it yet. Chat Icon

ITA with Marshalls and even target.

But I also agree that as long as you have that initial wicking layer, outer layers don't matter as much.
