Cats not getting along- what to do
I have 3 cats, 2 boys and a girl. My 2 boys are best buds- they play together, sleep and cuddle together, clean each other etc. Yesterday I came home to my little guy hiding under the bed. Usually when I say " Who wants to eat" they all come galavanting into the kitchen. My little one wouldn't come out when I fed them. I got him, brought him over to his bowl and my older boy started hissing and growling at him- a behavior he has NEVER done before. Then my little one ran and hid under the bed. I ended up having to bring his food bowl into our bedroom so he could eat in peace.
Later on that night we were on the couch, and usually both boys would hop up on the recliner and lay together. My older boy was already there. The little one jumps up onto the recliner and the older one AGAIN hissed at him nd swatted him. I picked up my older one, told him no and put him in the bedroom. When we were going to bed, the older one jumped on to sleep with us and the little one was already on the bed. He looked at him, growled and jumped off the bed.
Not sure what's going on as this behavior is not normal for our boys. At first I thought maybe something happened between them while we were at work and the older one was mad. Now I'm starting to think my older one isn't feeling good- even though he isn't showing any signs whatsoever of being sick.
Is this normal, or has this happened to anyones cats before? I feel so bad for my little one, he was so skittish this morning when I left. I plan on taking the older one to the Vet if this behavior continues, but if this is just a common thing that happens, then I won't.

Maybe one of them isn't feeling well?

I'd check with the vet first but mine go through this every one in awhile. It's like sibling rivalry. As long as they aren't physically hurting each other I wouldn't be too concerned. We spray the offender with water.
