Best inexpensive running shoes?
Can anyone recommend? I like support in the arch. Looking around 60 dollars or less. Tia

Everyone likes different brands, you really need to try on shoes to know what's best for you.
BUT I highly recommend this site.

I have a lot of friends that have the Mizuno Wave Riders. These are great deals on more expensive shoes and free shipping and returns.

I have freakishly high arches. I use superfeet insoles with my running shoes. I like Brooks Ghost currently. I wore wave riders for years but they don't have enough cushion for me and I was getting Plantar Fasciitis.

I always have good luck with asics. I wear an insole in them too & it's got the arch support I need.
But I would try on some, even have your foot sized. Who knew I needed a full size larger!

Just don't go too cheap! I agree with PP about asics. And go up a size. I bought a cheap pair of avias once just to have at my IL's house. I bought them at my regular size. Totally bruised my big toe nails and it took a few months to heal.

Same exact experience. Couldn't understand why I hated the Mizunos until I tried the Ghosts. The cushioning in the Ghosts is amazing! I have post partum ankle pain, and the Ghosts are seriously like running on a cloud!!!
