Ulcers?
Anyone have one that caused anemia and weight loss?

No but you have a bleeding ulcer then. I have had an ulcer but it didn't cause amenia or weight loss, just pain.
Have you seen a gastro dr? If not, you need to ASAP.

It's dad. His regular doc thinks ulcer but the gastro is unsure. Cat scan and endoscopy are ordered.
It's more about the lack of appetite and I think it's depression.
I hope by next week we are a clearer path.
He's lost a lot of weight.

I am very sorry...
Ask the dr to screen about depression. Also, check his kidney levels. Loss of appetite can be from kidney failure as well.
Hopefully you will know much more after the endoscopy whether or not its ucler related.
