Always, and it must be yearly. Lepto is VERY easy to get if your pet goes outside at ALL and it can be deadly. A few people on LIF have had pets DIE from lepto, and they did not know about or have the shot for their pet. I highly trust my vet and this shot is one not to be missed yearly for sure.

Yes, every year. But when we first got Murphy, the breeder said her dogs sometimes had reactions to the vaccine and to wait until he was a year old.

A disease that a dog can contract from the urine of an infected animal. Very easily contracted if they come in contact.

Always!!! I believe Lepto can even spread from animals to humans.

Although the shot does not protect against all strains of Lepto, I get it for both my dogs every year. I pay close attention after immunizations and they have not experienced any side effects.
After knowing two pets here who passed due to Lepto, I feel better about that decision.

We do not give our dog the lepto shot...actually we only do distemper parvo and rabies.

Lepto is becoming a problem here on the island and the new shot has a better safety rating than the old. The main issue with the old one was reaction in small breeds.
I give the lepto shot every year and have not had any issue with my small dog.
