What Went Wrong With My Pie?
I cooked my pie on 425 for 15 minutes and then 50 minutes on 350. My fruit never burst? I googled it but came up with nothing.

Thank you! It was the first time I ever made my crust from scratch. It was so much easier than I thought! (Also tastes so much better than the pillsbury refrig rollout dough. Scratch from now on!

What Went Wrong With My Pie?
I wonder if your oven is working right. The color in top is not even at all, your pastry looks so good! Are you 100% sure your oven is working okay?

Actually my oven runs hot...i had to buy an oven thermometer...if I want 425 i need to set it for 325...250 for 350...I never checked the temp after I lowered it...although now that you mention it, most of the color I got on the crust was from the first 15 minutes Going to check it out tonight!

I just remembered that I put it in the freezer to "chill" it because I read something somewhere about doing it....

OH! That def. has something to do with it!!! Every pie I've ever made has said let the fruit sit at room temperature for 20 minutes. Once I made it with cold raspberries and it also came out odd. Tasted good but looked terrible.

Chill the crust before you fill it, or if you want to chill the whole pie, cook the fruit a little to break it up.
