Newest Update...
I went for a sono this morning and Kreiner thinks there was something on the left fallopian tube.. there was nothing in my uterus.. so I'll be having that shot in the next few days. He's not 100% certain that it's ectopic but it seems to be the case.
Does ectopic have anything to do with infertility?
I realize that this is not a reflection on Dr Kreiner and predicting this was impossible.
I told him that now I'm worried ectopic will happen again and he said we may need to do IVF.
I still want to go to Braverman for a consult/blood work/second opinion.. but if I end up doing IVF I think I'm more comfortable doing it at LI IVF.
Thoughts?
Thanks, as always. I actually left work for a 1/2 day b/c I feel so tired/nauseous/and kind of dizzy from my hormones going haywire I guess? I just felt I needed to come home and lie down.

Sooo confused- how can this be if they put the embryo directly in the uterus?

I would take a break from reading everything online. I think that they place the embryo, but it is still free to move around - I guess it COULD get out and back into the tubes... but I don't see how that's more common with IVF. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that whatever study that is was at least slightly skewed. I have heard that women who have had abdominal surgery or injuries are more likely to have ectopic because of the scar tissue.

I know its hard for this to not consume me. I actually read in several places that with IVF the embryo(s) is/are more likely to move around once placed and can travel towards a tube.
What worried me, is this is my RE's solution to not having another ectopic, but I'm reading the opposite!

I'm so sorry. 
When you have an ectopic, your chances of another rise.
If you do IVF, it can still happen but according to my RE, if the avg. rate of ectopic with IVF is say 2%... A person who has had one before's chance doubles. So it's not as bad as you think. But yes, it can happen again.
I know how it feels. It sucks!
Just to let you know, the shot isn't bad. I read horror stories and was scared to death and it wound up being no big deal. I was just tired.

After ectopic waited 3 months after the shot and tried on our own a few months (wasn't ready to go back emotionally) right now, another failed IUI :( going for beta to confirm tmrw morning and then scheduling an IVF consult. I have endometriosis, low amh and scarred tubes that seem to collapse whenever they feel like it. So IVF is our best option with the tube issues.
