Besides Skinnytaste

What's another food blogger who uses a low calorie approach to cooking?

Looking for it to be whole foods with limited processed foods.

Hungry Girl

I stopped looking to hungry girl because she uses so much processed stuff.

to the OP, i don't have other recommendations but you can sub out healthy things or change recipes on your own - such as swapping brown rice for white, or using less oil than the recipe calls for, etc.

Re: Besides Skinnytaste

I've tried a few and honestly, skinnytaste is the only consistent one. I have made so many of her recipes and loved every one.

Other low calorie or WW blogs either use a lot of processed stuff, cut corners in weird ways, or the points are too high for the portion size. I keep looking, but I've yet to find anything that comes close to skinnytaste.

But I have tried hungry girl and skinnykitchen.

Emily Bites (www.emilybites.com) is a pretty good blog. A lot of people who like Skinnytaste seem to like her blog. I've made several recipes that have turned out well, and she doesn't rely on a lot of processed foods and artificial sweeteners. I love her raspberry cream cheese muffins (made with white whole wheat flour, and only 3 WW pts!). Her blog is similar to Skinnytaste in that she provides WW points plus values for her recipes.

Kath Eats Real Food (www.katheats.com) is one I've just started reading. She has lost weight in the past, but also is a registered dietician now and her husband owns a bakery! Her viewpoint is more tied to eating whole foods/clean eating. I haven't made many of her recipes, but they look good. The focus is more on healthy eating/lifestyle than just low-cal, though.

www.ambitiouskitchen.com is another food blog that I recently discovered. The recipes look good and the focus is on healthy, but it's not as focused on calories as Skinnytaste, imo. But a lot of recipes look interesting.

Hope this helps! I find that if I go on Pinterest to check out recipes, I often discover new food blogs that I return to often.
