urgent care thoughts?
I have an issue that needs to be seen by a dermatoligist. The problem is I don't have one so i called a few offices and bc I'm a new pt i can't be seen today. The issue is pretty bad but not where I have to go to the ER.
My gp sux and would probably just refer me out anyway. There is an urgent care place in my town but I've never gone to it. I'm nervous to go but its friday and I don't want to wait this out all weekend. Any thoughts or opinions? Thx!

I'm a big fan of stat health which is a walk in clinic. I actually just went this morning and was in and out in an hour. As long as it's during a week day, I find the wait there less than at my regular doctor with an appointment.

I did the exact same thing.
Had this awful hideous rash across my hand- it was hot to the touch, swollen, horrible.
I called a dermo and as a new patient couldn't get an appt for 2 weeks.
Went to stat health got diagnosed with contact dermititis and got 3 prescriptions.
Cleared it up!
