BIRCHBOX
got my first ( and last) box yesterday. $10 for CHAPSTICK, green nail polish, foam hair thing and birght pink tint for my cheek. yea, no thanks.

at least with ipsy, they give you a cosmetic pouch which is VERY useful!
you're basically getting samples you would get for free in goodie bags you get at events. 120$ a yr for samples you prob wont even use is a lot of money.

Yea I just cancelled mine. I never use any of it. It was fun and exciting but I think i would rather take my $10 monthly and go buy something I know I am going to use.

I got just about the same box as you. The only thing I'm excited to use is the microdermabrasion cream.
What the hell were they thinking with the green nail polish???

I cancelled Birchbox last month. So glad I did.
I now get Ipsy (signed up for the 1 year so am stuck until March) and Glossybox.
I love Glossybox! It is pricier ($23) but the quality and selection of products are much better. I got my box earlier this week which contained:
*Lip Balm (tinted w almond flavor) retail $16.50
*Bulgari Perfume Sample (.17 0z) retail $85.00 for 2.5oz
*Lotus Youth Face Cream .5oz-retail $42.00 50ml
*Tarte Flashes Mascara-full size (retail $23.00)
* Sasha Anti-Wrinkle Mask (retail $9.00)
So far, have used all of them!

I have IPSY but this Glossybox sounds awesome, never did birchbox.

I did Birchbox for a while. It was hit or miss. Some boxes were excellent, some left me scratching my head. My credit card number was stolen and when I didn't bother to update them I knew I didn't love it.

I loved my Birchbox this month. I got a shampoo & conditioner, benefit Girl Meets Pearl liquid highlighter, clarifying face mask. The Chapstick was a bonus, it's didn't take away from the usual 5 items you get in the box. Birchbox just teamed up with Chapstick this month.
I like to change my profile from time to time so I get different things more frequently.
I also subscribed to Ipsy but cancelled it after a 2 months, I thought the samples were such a joke & they were obviously not even looking at my profile.

This was my first birchbox this month. I got the Chapstick, Grey nail polish (nice color), a face mask, a exfoliating facial scrub and a teeny tiny foundation (but unlike Ipsy, the foundation I got from Birchbox matches my skin good). I don't know, i wasn't too impressed, I like Ipsy better bc at least I get a bag that is useful!
