Small Gestational Sac
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the gestational sac measuring small. At 8 weeks we were told the sac is measuring small compared to the baby and even though the baby is the perfect size and the heartbeat is strong this would most likely but not definitely cause a miscarriage. The doctor put me on progesterone and I have another US on Tuesday to see what's going on. Anyone go through this?

Re: Small Gestational Sac
I'm sorry to say that I did experience this and it ended in a miscarriage. The sac was too small and eventually the baby's heart stopped beating. We had testing done and it was due to a chromosomal abnormality. There ARE stories that have positive outcomes-I searched in the weeks of waiting. I hope that you are able to have one of the positive stories. Sending lots of hugs your way. I know the waiting is torturous.
