Spinoff(sort of) to Too Much Stuff
In the thread, someone had said that they have trouble piecing outfits together...thats me too. I'm sure that I could make a million different things from all the clothes that I have.
SO with that said, is there an app or anything that anyone knows of that you can take pictures of your clothes and it can put together an outfit using different pieces?
If not, this should TOTALLY be invented.
If so, what is it? I NEED THIS IMMEDIATELY!

I'm actually good at putting outfits together. I'm constantly taking photos of myself like a jackass and posting them on pinterest! An app would be fun, though!

Re: Spinoff(sort of) to Too Much Stuff
I made an excel spreadsheet for my DH and for some of his friends. Basically I would organize things by the following categories:
blouses sweaters cardigans long sleeve t-shirts short sleeve t-shirts tunics
pants jeans skirts (short) skirts (long)
dresses
jackets
I classify things by color and then put little Xs' in the box to show where things match and can work together.
I would also add a category for accessories scarves necklaces bracelets earrings rings
Then shoes by type and color.
Lastly underpinnings (bras, underwear, stockings, socks, etc).

Re: Spinoff(sort of) to Too Much Stuff
I have this issue. I'm working on it- through the help of Pinterest and the interwebs, but I really could use Cher's system from Clueless.
As far as shoes and accessories, forget it! I'm lost!

Polyvore!
You can create sets of things that go together. And get your items for your sets from store websites. I search for my item first and see how others have styled it.
I try to add everything I buy and I browse outfits for my items but I don't create many sets. I 'like' a lot of sets though.

There's actually an app called CLOSET that yes, you can take pictures and then it'll scroll through and create outfits for you! I downloaded it and started to take pics of everything but then got too exhausted when I realized I had SO MUCH STUFF.

I actually use polyvore for inspiration- not my own stuff, but I pin a lot of outfits that people put together.

Re: Spinoff(sort of) to Too Much Stuff
See, i have lots of clothes that theoretically should go together, but because of various body issues or the way the item fits me, i end up not being daring enough to wear something differently.
Forget an app, i need a stylist!
I can't tell you how friggin difficult it is to be on the larger size and find clothes that look good. it SUCKS

Is it sad that the first thing I thought of was Cher's closet?! Every girl seriously needs that.
