What exactly is the RE looking at or looking for? Are results given right then and there?

They will basically be looking at your uterus lining, and both ovaries for mature follicles. Yes, normally they give you the results there.

They can only tell you have many follies you have. They can tell you if it looks like you should ovulate, but they can't tell you IF you will. And they can't tell you when.l Are you have blood work done, too? A sono is not usually done w/o b/w.

not that Im aware of of....
I did b/w at cd 3
hsg cd 9
u/s cd 10
then more bloodwork cd22
ETA- I know there is additional blood work to see if the synthroid is working/right dose- but I believe I have to be on it for a month first!

U/S at cd12
they usually just do an ultrasound to see if you have any maturing follicles. if you do, then they may tell you too give yourself the Ovidrel shot to make you ovulate. if not, they will have you come in for further monitoring to check when your follicle is the right size

This month is just testing and TTC on our own.... I don't know if that makes a difference...
