CD12 sono results
Looks like this cycle is a no-go after all.
Lots and lots of cysts--11 on my left, 8 on my right--nothing bigger than 10mm. I was kinda hoping the Met would do its thing. My dr. wants me to start the Clomid next cycle, but she said it's up to me..."it depends on how badly you want it, and how soon".
This means I'm going to have to take another round of Provera to bring AF at the end of the month, right?

Re: CD12 sono results
They usually gave me until CD28-30 and then I would start the Provera again. I know it stinks not getting the news you hope for when you go the RE but hang in there........it took a few months for the Met to work for me. And even though I got an egg (and I am preggers) I still never got AF on my own. I took Provera for that cycle too. My RE said it could take up to 6 months to see any effects from the Met. Lots and lots of luck........try and stay positive!!!!!!

Re: CD12 sono results
At my RE, they usually give to around CD20 and then if nothing is growing they give provera. This happened to me last cycle.

She told me this cycle is a "bust". Should I be asking to be monitored longer?
I'm starting to learn that I need to be a little more "pressing" when it comes to stuff like this. Do you this I should be a little more agressive w/ my doctor?

Re: CD12 sono results
I would definately be more aggressive with your doctor! CD12 is still early! I'm a late O'er, even with Met and Clomid. Ask if you could monitored to CD20 or so, and see what's happening then.

Re: CD12 sono results
Like I said, I was on the Met and I took Provera to get AF. I was monitored constantly and throughout that cycle nothing was going on, everything was quiet BUT then on CD21 they saw an egg which was 20mm and ready to go. I took the trigger shot the next day, had the IUI and BAM!!..........preggers!!! So basically, I think it's waaaaaaaaaaaay to early for the dr. to call your cycle a bust!! You're only CD12. Had my dr. "given up" I may never have seen my egg and hence, never gotten preggers this cycle. This is your health so be aggressive if you have to, it could be the difference between getting preggers one cycle or not. Lots of luck!!!
**BTW - I had a sonogram on CD16 and there was no egg, they saw nothing so in just a few short days an egg popped up and I ovulated. So you never know!!! **

Yes, I definitely think you should be more agressive. Remember you are your best advocate. I don't really know why they would tell you its a bust on CD12. If it was CD21, I could see her saying that. Well, actually if those are the words she used, I don't think she should have said that, those are kind of harsh words.

I don't think she used those words, now that I think about it. I think I asked, "So, does this mean this cycle is a bust?" and she replied "Yeah. I'm going to suggest the Clomid for next month".
Well, my plan is to just have fun this month and pick up again next month. If something happens, great. If not, I'm prepped and primed for next cycle.
