Kitchen appliances - what brand?
We need a new fridge, desperately since the freezer broke. I see ads for bundled appliance packages and I am thinking I want to do that. But I am not sure what brand to look at. The fridge we had was an Amana (freezer on bottom) and I do not love it. In our old house we had a side by side and I think I want to get another one. Any tips/thoughts/suggestions? Still debating on stainless too.

We did a package at pc Richards and we love our Samsung. Its stainless but its the less smudgy one. We got the fridge/dw/stove/microwave and couldn't be happier.

I've been looking at Consumer Reports and Kenmore Elite seems to get really good ratings across the board for ranges, dishwashers, refrigerators.

Re: Kitchen appliances - what brand?
we went with and LG fridge, oven and microwave and a kitchen aid dishwasher cause they are supposed to be the best.
We are happy with all our choices... really love my LG oven/stove and it was top-rated.
my one complaint is I hate the way the water comes out of the fridge and it confuses everyone who comes over so people are always getting water on the floor!

Re: Kitchen appliances - what brand?
I have GE in my kitchen. Fridge and stove (Hotpoint, made by GE) are 15 years old and still going strong. Dishwasher was Whirlpool and died 2 years ago at age 13 (haven't replaced it yet).
Later this year I will replace the fridge with a bottom freezer/French door model. I am so sick and tired of the lack of space in the side by side. Dishwasher will be replaced as well. No stainless - I don't like that look.
Same as OP, not sure with what brand. Dishwasher has to be quiet, so decibel ratings will be important as well as performance.

Kitchen appliances - what brand?
I have frigidaire appliances. Bought them in a package from PC Richard.
Have zero complains and my dishwasher is so quiet. To the point my mom was visiting and she commented on how quiet it was compared to her expensive one.
we have whirlpool washer and dryer that I LOVE.

We have a Wolf stove and Sub Zero fridge, with a Frgidaire dishwasher that I hope to replace with a Miele or Fisher Paykel. The quality and look is beyond compare. We had all LG in the house when we bought it and they were great too.

we have a bosch dishwasher and you don't even know it's on.. Don't hear it at all. It works great. It has a little red light that shines on the floor to let you know it's on. It beeps when done. Very happy with it got it 4 years ago
