Kindergarten Enrichment Programs
For those that sent their child to a kindergarten enrichment program in Nassau where did your child go? East Meadow does half day kinder and I need to send my son somewhere else during the other time he is not at the elementary school.

it is 3 days a week 3 hours a day.

Ours will go to one in floral park in september.
it is 3 days a week 3 hours a day.
Can you share the name? Is it My First School? My son starts K in Sept and we are so stressed out!! We are even considering private school for the one yr.!!

Im in east meadow too but i wont be sending DS to enrichment. However i know first step nursery in hicksville on stewart ave has a K enrichment program.

First step doesn't provide transportation which I need.
I've called
Maplewoood-doesn't provide transportation to east meadow
Tutor time-doesn't have half day kindergarten only full day.
Alphabet land
Big chief
Merrick woods
South shore
Also have Caorusel to call.

Have you looked into the private school yet? My mom mentioned this to me but I'm wondering how much it would be. I don't want to pay daycare money. I'm so done with daycare-my second mortgage!

It isnt. It is Bright Horizons. My kids started in the 3 year old program. I/They love it!!!!

private/catholic school is just too much for both of my kids and just for one year.
I plan on sending them to public school for 1st grade so I didnt want them to just go to one school for one year and then change again.

look into South Shore. They go up to 1st grade and have busing.

check twin oaks too. i don't remember if they offer enrichment or just full day K, but they have something there.

That actually is cheaper than some enrichment programs that I called when you add in early drop off/late pick up!!! I am going to call St Raphael's just to see what their pricing is.
