how to clean scuff marks on walls

i always use magic eraser to clean my BM painted walls. i tested it first in an out of view spot and applied very little pressure. no paint came off. works great.

I don't like the magic eraser, I think it leaves marks.

Usually use warm water and Mr. Clean, which is my go-to all purpose cleaner, or warm water with vinegar. I keep old washcloths on hand to clean walls and floors. Sometimes a little bit of baking soda on a damp cloth will work too.

Clorox cleaning wipes work on everything.. I sometimes find thematic eraser can take off some paint. So start out light if using them.

I am a big fan of magic erasers for many jobs, but not for painted walls. It will remove the scuff mark, but on my walls, it leaves marks...like the eggshell finish is buffed smooth.

The magic eraser left marks all over my BM walls when I cleaned...biggest PITA trying to re-clean it up. I also have a dark color which might have made a difference.

I would not use the magic eraser. While it does remove the scuff, it changes the finish of the paint. I didn't realize it until seeing the spot in natural sunlight.
