looking for female doctors
primary care and ob/gyn
-anywhere in Nassau- willing to travel for a great doc
-someone who I can actually get an appt with when I am sick (as opposed to seeing a NP)

Female Dr in New Hyde Park - Dr. Dragonetti. Very, very down to earth, very thorough and honest. Calls you after the results are in for blood work. Does all the testing herself. Very knowledgeable. I've been using her for two years. If your sick, you can call her and she sends in a script to your pharmacy.
Gyno - I use a male dr

For a female OB, I have friends that love Dr. Alkasab (Not sure if that is the right spelling). She's with Dr. Victor Klein's practice in Great Neck.

I see Dr. Tepper at ProHealth in Lake Success and I love her. I've never been there for a sick visit, but I can tell you the most I've waited for a physical is 10-15 minutes.

I go to a great doctor in Mineola. Dr. Marleen Lobato. She's great! I always get an appointment when needed!

Obgyn. Dr. Hanauer in Garden City. She is amazing. Delivered both my girls. Makes every visit easy. Honestly, you feel like you are talking to your friend. You do need to book her a few months in advance. The wait in the waiting room used to be like an hour but the last few times I went was maybe 20min.

Dr. Lisa Walters in Oceanside for primary care
Dr. Jeanine Morris rush or Melissa Oppenheim for ob. Part of Preferred omen's health. They have two offices. One in Woodbury and the other in new Hyde park.

Dr Shirley Goodman in Woodbury, is great. All the PCPs in that office are females. The other side of the office is Cardiologist and its mixed. Part of the NSLIJ system
