Female Doctors
I currently go to a practice that only will deliver at South Side if I am having a scheduled C or if i want to have my tubes tied. Being that im not looking to do either one of those, can you tell me if you ladies know of any female doctors you go to that deliver at South Side Hospital. And if you can tell me a bit about the practice
Also do you know if I can switch 12weeks into my pregnancy??
Thanks Ladies!!!

Re: Female Doctors
I go to Oakdale Ob/Gyn and they deliver at SouthSide. There is one female in the practice- Dr O Sullivan. I have not seen her yet- I have only seen her husband- Dr Bakshi and he is a DOLL. Trust me- I do NOT go to male Drs. But when I called for my first appt, the female was booked up for too long and they wanted to get me in sooner so I took him- reluctantly. But honestly he is great- I never felt uncomfortable at all- and that's a BIG thing for me- if you know me.
You can always request Dr O'Sullivan if it has to be a female- her wait seems to be a bit longer for a first appt though. Also bear in mind that they want you to see all 3 Dr's in the practice during your pregnancy- because you never know who will be on call when you deliver. There are 2 males along with her.
The practice has been good so far- i never had to wait long at all, the staff has been very nice, etc
And yes, you can switch at 12 weeks...
