Had HSG test today...
and hopefully that is the last time.
They brought me into a dim white room with all the xray equipment and put me on a table to start the procedure. And throughout my experience there was a baby crying in the background. I thought i was in some horror movie. They really should give better meds cause regular pain pills did not work for me and if i didn't take anything i wonder what it would be like. If it really made any difference.
Anyway, since it was so painful, i'm nervous about the results. What happens if they find a blockage?

Mine was very painful and they said my tubes were clear. I'm not sure what the treatment entails if your tubes are blocked. Fingers crossed for a good result!

Re: Had HSG test today...
I hated the HSG. The cramps, while they didn't last long, were unbearable and felt like they would never end. Di dthe tech mention anything about seeing blockage? Hoping for the best for you!!!!

Re: Had HSG test today...
The HSG was the worst out of everything for me - even surgery. I only took ibuprofen and it did nothing. I didn't have any blockage we saw it right away. Good luck to you!

Mine was really painful, too, and my tubes were clear. I also got a BFP 2 weeks after it. So despite the pain, it was totally worth it!

I've heard that its good to help getting pregnant. So hopefully the pain was something good.

HSG and the endometrial biopsy were both up there on the pain scale! Glad it is over for you and hope your results are positive!!!

Re: Had HSG test today...
My HSG was more uncomfortable than painful. My tubes were clear and we were pregnant a month later.
