Chicken noodle soup- cook pasta in the soup
or separate on the side? I always cooked it on the side so it wouldn't get mooshy and it could freeze well but I cooked some egg noodles in my soup the last time and it was so yummy. More flavorful I think. So what do you prefer?

I always cooked it on the side, but the past few times I've just added it right into the broth and it comes out just fine. Saves me from having to clean an extra pot too!

I cook egg noodles directly in the soup. Any other type of noodle will absorb all/most of the liquid.

This! I always did it on the side but then I was so sick of the extra dishes, I did it all in 1 and it came out fine. So now I do it like that...

I cook them on the side, pasta absorbs too much water and I hate losing broth in the cooking process.

I cook them with the soup about 10-15 minutes before everything's done so it's not in there for too long. Never had any issues.

Same but if you do have leftovers and let it sit for more than a day, they will absorb all the broth.

Yup, this def. happens. I usually make sure to just make enough for that meal, because otherwise it becomes mush which is not the worst thing sometimes :)
