Dry, Flakey Scalp

I'm 7 1/2 months post-partum and my healthy hair from pregnancy hormones is gone. Now it's just gross, I'm losing a ridiculous amount, and have a ton of baby hair around my hair line.

I've noticed that I have dry, flakey scalp now too. Chat Icon I'm sure it's related to everything else going on with my hair. It's not pleasant to say the least. I'm guessing it could be dandruff, something else? I have no idea.

Anyone else deal with this and what did you use on it? Thanks.

T-gel by neutrogena. Smells awful. Works the best.

I find it happens in the winter when I blow dry my hair. What helps is using this scalp massager/exfoliator thing from harmon before I wash my hair.

Re: Dry, Flakey Scalp

It's possible that you're allergic to your shampoo. Especially if you use a fragrant/perfumey brand. I use a clear very basic shampoo now and I've noticed a big reduction in how flakey my scalp was.
