Anyone do IVF - then IUI??

I know it's kind of backward but you never know. Our insurance covers up to 6 IUI cycles...we went straight to IVF as per our RE's recommendation.

I know some people have done IUI, IVF, IUI.

I would think about doing an IUI if my IF diagnosis said that was a viable process. (For us, it was not ever an option).

I did 4 iuis before Ivf. We weren't diagnosed with anything so there was no reason it wouldn't have worked. Everybody and every situation is different though.

If Ivf didn't work and we exhausted our insurance we probably would have gone back to trying with iui.

I did IUI after IVF while we were deciding if we were goin to give up or figure out a way to do it again. It was also a good time to try different med protocols. RE said sometimes they do that. I researched a little and I did find some success stories. We r unexplained

My sil did this but it was after a successful if and it was the only thing the insurance would cover.

I did. Conceived my DD and later attempted same ivf protocol (which didnt as so well) so we converted to iui since ghi covered my iuis but not ivf.
