Any of you watch ladies of London?
This is merging my IF and celebrity gossip worlds. Well there is a woman on the show, Caprice Bourret, who is 42 years old. This is her story...
In 2013, Bourret announced her pregnancy. She had decided to have a surrogate child after being told by doctors that she was unlikely to conceive naturally. Shortly after discovering the success of the procedure, Bourret found that she was also expecting a child herself. The male, surrogate child was born in Los Angeles on August 19, 2013 and Bourret attended the birth. Bourret gave birth herself less than a month later to a son. The two sons are named Jett and Jax.
I also know someone personally that this happened to as well. I also know someone who used donor eggs for ivf and 6 months later got preg on her own naturally after 40. So the doctors aren't always right. Have faith.
