Re switch consult Q

Did all of you consulting with new RE's request your records and then make appt at new place? I just requested a copy from RSOFNY which might take two weeks. Should I wait or call now at liivf for consult appt? And what drs do any of you recommend at liivf Melville ? Tia !

Re: Re switch consult Q

I would first call to schedule the consultation with your new RE of choice. They are often booked up a few weeks in advance, especially if you are requesting a certain doctor, and not accepting the first available appointment.

Then, I would call your current RE and request for you records to either be faxed to your new office, or printed so you are able to pick them up. Personally, I would ask to have them printed. It will cost you a few dollars, but you are free to make your own copies before giving them to your new doctor.

I don't have any recommendations, but wanted to wish you the best of luck Chat Icon. Hopefully a new pair of eyes will help

I called to make an appt with a diff RE right after requesting records. Records took less than 2 weeks for me from RS of NY. Good luck!

Re: Re switch consult Q

They are quick at RS with records. Less than 2weeks for me. Certain RE's are booked out for months. I waited 3 months to meet with Dr. Tortoriello.
