Switching RE's
Has anyone switched their RE's within the same practice? did it work out, and was it awkward at all? I am probably overthinking it.

Re: Switching RE's
I consulted my case with other REs in the practice for opinions but I didn't switch bc my RE at that time was the main RE who is usually there and I would have to see her regardless. It would have been too awkward for me.

Switching RE's
I switched drs within the same practice. It was a little awkward... but I think only for me. Hasn't really worked out any better for me either.

Switching RE's
I was thinking about this too,, just thought that the other re's in same practice wouldn't say to do something different. Like they would not give a real opinion if it was different

Re: Switching RE's
I think it would be hard if it is a place that has a "factory" feel. I usually ended up meeting with/getting procedures done by other RE's in the same group, depending on who was there on the day I went in.

Re: Switching RE's
I'm hearing from other ladies that certain doctors are more aggressive within the practice. I'm not sure if it's even worth it, I'm going to decide after I meet with him before our next IVF cycle. If I don't like what I hear I may consider switching.. thanks for your input!

Re: Switching RE's
If they are professional, it should not be awkward. I saw Dr.B for years before moving on to a buddy of his. I seriously felt like I was cheating but honestly,Dr.B said he just wanted to see me with a baby in my arms, it didn't matter if he was the doctor who did it. He was so right....l I've been back to see him for various reasons since getting pregnant with my DS (have also went to bring my DS there to visit after he was born) and he was genuinely happy, no awkwardness whatsoever,
