Rinsing Chick Peas
I rinse my chick peas really well before eating them but to no avail, I still get a stomach ache. Not sure if it is just from the beans or the oils in the can.
Should the beans be rinsed overnight so all the oils come out?

You might be getting a reaction from the beans themselves. They do cause gas and you might just not be able to digest them properly. Is it like this if you cook them?

Never tried cooking them. I like them right out the can.

try cooking them. I sauté them in some olive oil and chopped onions for a minute or two. I wash/rinse them throughly before.

The more beans you eat, the more your body will become adjusted. Take beano - sounds like a bean attack.

I rinse them and take off the skins. Have you tried that?
