Exterior paint color help!

The front of our house is part red brick and part aluminum siding - mostly cream colored with dark brown trim. The back and 2 sides of the house are painted a horrible dark brown. We are having those 3 sides painted - but I can't figure out a color. (Unfortunately the roof is a sort of rust color . It will probably have to be changed in a few years, but not happening in the immediate future). I would love to do something in the blue family, but not sure how that would look. Or maybe in the sage greenish family? Or should we just stick with a light tan/coffee color? Any other ideas?

ETA: We are not changing anything in the front right now - just the dark brown on the 3 sides that you can't see in the pic. So, I'm wondering what color would look good with the front of the house.

I would paint the sides and back the same color as the front siding. IMO, it would look odd to have the front one color and the sides and back another. Do you have a pic of the back of house?

The same color as the front. You want it to look cohesive and not like it was pieced together. Every time I see multi color houses I cringe.

Thanks - I've been thinking about what you both said and know you're right. Part of me really wanted to do a "color" but I know that a tan/beige will look the best.
