best acid reflux med
what have you found to be the best acid reflux med?
tums isn't cutting it. I know there's zantac, prilosec and pepsid right?
anyone have any recommendations?
i sometimes wake up at night choking from the reflux.

Honestly nothing really made it go away. Towards the end I literally had to sleep almost sitting up. Within seconds of laying down I could feel the reflux coming up.

Heart burn was my worst preggo symptom. Zantac was a life saver for me. Tums didn't help at all.

Try drinking a half cup of water with two tsps of apple cider vinegar before meals and before bed. It was the only thing that helped my sister.

This!! I did find some relief with tums but not really.

The only thing my docs would approve was plain pepsid. It was better than tums but I definitely had to stay pretty upright toward the end.

I tried tums first and then pepcid... which didn't help at all. My doctor finally told me to get Nexium. It's over the counter now but they used to prescribe it for severe heartburn and GERD. I can finally eat a meal without throwing up stomach acid afterwards. If nothing else is helping, def try it. I hope you feel better.

now he's a question for you ladies.
Did your son/daughter have reflux?
my 1st, very mild at the end and my son had very mild reflux.
my 2nd... started at 30 weeks and had reflux bad.
this one... started at 22 weeks so now i'm petrified this kid will have it even worse.

I had it before even getting pregnant and then a million times worse during. DD did not have reflux.

I take 75mg Zantac before bed. I haven't woken up with that horrible, burning acid feeling since I started.

I had bad heartburn with both kids.
DS did not have reflux
DD had severe reflux
