Synthroid
My tsh is around 3, which is normal but for ttc, 2 and under is ideal. So I got a prescription for 50 mcg of synthroid. I googled the side effects of synthroid and infertility is one of them.
Anyone get pg while taking it? I just feel like I can't win!

Try not to make yourself crazy. I'm on synthroid for underactive thyroid, too. If you're concerned, talk to your doctor, but you need to be able to trust that they're guiding you appropriately. I'm sure he/she has weighed the risk of the medication against the risk of not getting your tsh to a better level.

I have gotten pregnant 3 times on synthroid. Had no idea infertility was a side effect.

it's very important that your thyroid be regulated during pregnancy. under and over active thyroid function can contribute to miscarriage so it's important that if your thyroid is off, you take the meds. i was on synthroid the entire time i was doing fert treatments and while preggo!

PG twice here on synthroid. It is a synthetic hormone and there really aren't any side effects as long as you are on the correct dose.

I had to do the same. Literally took it 4 months before we did ivf and went off 2 months after having our dd! Totally fine!
