My friend had her rehearsal dinner at waters edge in queens. Food was delicious and view spectacular!!!

Was going to say Water's Edge, too. Or the Water Club in Manhattan.

Bistro Citron in Roslyn is nice, we went to my cousins bday brunch there and it was on the water

Been to a wedding on Water's Edge. It was really nice.
You can also look into Hoboken. Lots of great restaurants on Frank Sinatra Drive overlooking the city skyline.
Chart House in Weehawken
Liberty House in Jersey City
