Where do you recommend to go for dinner and drinks for a night out with girlfriends?

Stay away from river house grill. Was there Saturday. Bad food, bad service and expensive. Just me and my dh went and they automatically added a 20% gratuity. The waiter was so bad he barely deserved any tip!

I haven't been this summer, but previously I have enjoyed EB Elliot's and Hudson McCoys.

I think Rachel's has the best food, if not the most "lively" atmosphere. I would go to Rachel's and then walk somewhere else for after dinner drinks. Hudson's has a good bar scene, but it's not a fist-pumping, fog machine, early 20s scene like Bracco's or Tropix (of course, you may be into that, too!).
