Homeowners Insurance
Is obtaining homeowners insurance a simple process? About how long does it take to get?

I have a 24 hour turn around time for quotes. Once the quote is given out all you have to do is sign applications and give a down payment. The whole thing could be done in a day if the person you are working with works on it that day, and you are able to get everything back to them right away.

We just did this and it was pretty quick. DH (he works for the company we use) called to get everything in place when we got our commitment letter but we had to wait until we had a closing date to get the binder. Once we had that everything was emailed to the bank the same day.

I recommend calling Jen. She was great! Very responsive and was happy to work directly with the bank to obtain some information.

I called the insurance companies directly. Once I decided which company to go with, it was very fast. I had my binder the same day.

I worked with Jennifer as well for my home and she was fantastic! Lowest quote we received from several brokers/companies and fantastic customer service.
