UPDATE:catholic school interview
Hi ladies,
I am really excited because I have a screening interview with the Diocese this Thursday! Can anyone tell me what type of interview questions I might get asked? I would appreciate it!! Thank you!
Update! The interview went really well! The sister told me on the spot that I passed!!! I'm so excited! Now I just have to nail a job by contacting as many catholic schools as I can :) thank you all who responded and helped me prepare for this interview! It really was an easy laid back interview and I believe that I felt calm, confident and I was being my bubbly self that helped me get through the interview! Thank you everyone :)

catholic school interview
My interview was much more laid back than any interview I've gone on for LI/DOE. They asked me questions about differentiated instruction, experience with technology (everything for DRVC is online - each class has their own website that you have to post on daily), how I would deal with constant parent communication (I didn't realize at that time how much he WASN'T exaggerating), things of that nature. Just go in with confidence and you will be fine. Best of luck to you!!!

Mine was six years ago. Sounds like it hasn't changed much. Another question would be, because you have to teach religion, how you would do that effectively. I agree with all of the above as well, that's what they asked me on mine.
Best of luck!

How do you answer how would you teach religion effectively? Prayer every morning? What else? Thanks!

They want to see how you integrate it into the classroom setting. I said I would relate it to what we are learning about when possible, try to personalize it for them, etc.
